We were delighted to win the Northamptonshire Community Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award, presented on 6th November 2019. This was amongst 8 awards presented on the night at a fantastic evening hosted at the Royal and Derngate theatre in Northampton.
The award recognised the importance of our services in reducing social isolation and promoting social interaction to support people to live independently in their own homes. We have been providing support to the local community since 1981, and are honoured to receive this recognition for our volunteers and staff.

SERVE's Lifetime Achievement Award
"Thank you all for looking after me whilst I was unwell, and putting up with my funny ways, also the lovely chats.
Missing your company and help very much. Keep up the good work."
"With Serve’s assistance I have now started to regain confidence to venture out, mainly pub lunches."
"I think we are very fortunate to have Serve, a lot of my friends in the UK don’t have anything and would really benefit from the services offered by Serve."
"I had been very ill. I hadn’t been out, lost all my confidence, joining Serve got me back on my feet."
"When my disability worsened during late 2018 I was recommended to contact Serve and I cannot speak too highly of their services, facilities and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They go out of their way to be of assistance and have been most helpful in providing advice and mobility
items. Thank you very much."
"The volunteers who take me to hospital or doctor appointments are very good at making you at ease. Lovely drivers and I feel relaxed with them."
