Who Provides My Care?
It's Your Choice!
You have the right to choose who provides your care, whether you pay for it yourself or receive funding from the Council.
If you have had your needs assessed by the Council and they are funding your care, you are entitled to a "Direct Payment". This is where the assessed cost of your care is paid to you, and you are free to arrange your own support.
At SERVE we have a great deal of experience providing care to fully-funded, part-funded and private clients, so if you have any questions please feel free to get in touch. More information is also available from your Local Authority/Council.
BIRDIE
Here at SERVE, we're proud to have partnered with Birdie Care, an innovative care management platform that enables us to digitally log, track and monitor the support we provide.
Our carers are guided by the Birdie App to instantly make notes, record medications and flag concerns during a visit. In the office, we're then able to monitor changes in real-time, make decisions quickly and most importantly, ensure we're providing the highest quality care to an individual.
The Birdie Family App allows family members to get full visibility of how their loved-one's care is being delivered, on a daily basis.

Care and support at home
Our caring and professional team provide a range of tailor-made services, from 30 minute visits to sitting services and overnight care. Our services include:
Washing & dressing
From gentle encouragement to practical assistance with multiple carers, we'll discuss your needs with you and your loved ones, creating a care package that's right for you.
Medication
We can remind, encourage and administer medication according to your needs. Our carers are trained to assist with tablets and capsules, liquid medications, creams, eye drops, ear drops, transdermal patches and more.
Eating & drinking
Our care staff can heat pre-prepared meals, make snacks or cook a meal from scratch. We can leave food and drink for later, or offer physical support to eat and drink - all according to your needs. We even have staff trained in more complex nutritional needs, such as thickening agents and PEG feeding.
Escorted visits
If you need one-to-one support getting to medical appointments, want to visit family or just want a trip out, our trained staff can help you with this. We can help you with any personal care or mobility needs you may have whilst out and about.
Longer visits
We provide sitting services and overnight care to give our clients' regular carers a break. This could be a regular visit or a one-off event, please contact us to see how we can help.

Home from hospital
Whether it's a one-off visit or ongoing care, we can pick you up, get you settled in at home, prepare a meal and a drink, and help with any care needs. We can even pop to the shops.
